Chess Instructor | Spring

The instructor will lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10-15 elementary students using a structured curriculum to teach fundamentals and promote good sportsmanship. Responsibilities also include managing the classroom environment, encouraging critical thinking, and following all school safety protocols during arrival, dismissal, and class time.

Candidates must have prior experience working with groups of children, such as teaching or coaching, and possess a strong grasp of chess fundamentals to explain concepts clearly to young students. Reliability, professional demeanor, and the ability to travel to various local school sites on weekday afternoons are essential requirements.
