Applicants must possess a master's or doctoral degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution and hold an unencumbered professional rn nursing license in hawaii, with an illinois rn license also required to teach all courses. A minimum of two years of professional experience as a registered nurse within the last five years in the area of instruction, along with active bls certification, is mandatory.
