The academic advisor for nursing provides direct, personalized service to students to strengthen their academic skills and foster a sense of belonging, while channeling student concerns and referring them to appropriate offices as needed. Essential duties include managing academic curricula to guide students, identifying high-Risk students, and planning targeted activities to ensure academic continuity.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in nursing, hold a current nursing license and registration, and have a minimum of two years of experience specifically in student advising. The role requires orienting students on academic interests, developing short and long-Term study plans, and guiding those at risk of failing to meet academic progress standards.
