Associate Teacher - Jerome Preschool

This role involves working as part of a teaching team to assist the teacher in preparing, planning, and executing daily operations within a head start classroom, including building relationships with families and implementing head start performance standards. The associate teacher will also assume the teacher role during absences and participate in continuous professional development to maintain required credentials.

Candidates must have experience working with preschool children and possess a child development associate (Cda) credential, with an associate’s degree in early childhood education/Child development preferred. Required qualifications include maintaining first aid and cpr certifications, passing screenings, and demonstrating knowledge of child development and relevant regulations.
