Quality Improvement Specialist

This role involves providing support services to childcare providers in eastern resource center region counties, focusing on genesee county, by conducting outreach and on-Site visits to encourage participation in the great start to quality program. Key duties include delivering technical assistance, supporting quality improvement plan creation, conducting required training, and tracking all provided assistance and professional development activities.

Required qualifications include an associate’s degree and a minimum of two years of experience in early childhood education, though a bachelor's degree is preferred. Candidates must possess working knowledge of the cda credential process, be familiar with developmentally appropriate practices, and demonstrate effective communication and sensitivity to diverse groups.
