Immediate High School Building Substitute

The building substitute is responsible for classroom supervision and implementing lessons during short and long-Term teacher absences, ensuring consistent instruction and classroom management aligned with building expectations. Core duties include providing instructional coverage, supervising students across various activities, and building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

Candidates must possess a b.a./B.s. Degree and ideally have 1-2 years of classroom experience, preferably in urban education, along with a commitment to lifelong learning and equity. Essential qualifications include demonstrated skill in working with diverse student populations and the ability to be flexible and adaptable to daily school needs.
