Milieu Specialist

The milieu specialist acts as part of a multidisciplinary team focusing on the social, recreational, and behavioral needs of children with emotional and behavioral challenges, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met daily. Key duties include overseeing activity planning, implementing treatment protocols, maintaining a safe therapeutic environment, and handling administrative tasks like reporting.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and have six months of prior experience working with children facing emotional and behavioral challenges. A valid u.s. Driver’s license is required, along with the ability to obtain map certification within the first three months of employment.
