Special Education Teacher

The special education teacher will provide engaging and differentiated academic lessons across all subjects while collaborating with clinicians, administration, and support staff to ensure student success. Key duties include preparing student goals in smart format, implementing ieps, tracking progress, conducting academic assessments, and maintaining daily parent communication.

Candidates must meet specific educational criteria based on their level (Ba, ma, or dsap) and possess a valid ct 165 certification and cpr certification. A minimum of one year of special education classroom experience, particularly with the ed population, is preferred, along with required certification in therapeutic crisis intervention.
