P/T Youth Mentor- Guiding Stars

Mentors will develop safe, stable, and nurturing relationships with mentees using trauma-Informed training, focusing on nurturing strengths, ensuring well-Being, and teaching life and academic skills. Key duties include modeling responsible behavior, attending monthly meetings, tracking time, documenting activities, and connecting families to necessary resources.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of a high school diploma, though an aa or ba degree is preferred, along with at least two years of experience working with children, including those with varying abilities. Applicants must also pass background checks, possess a valid driver's license, have reliable personal transportation, and be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
