Youth Caregiver

The youth caregiver assists in providing daily care, safety, and welfare for up to 12 youth in a therapeutic residential cottage program, offering guidance on daily living skills and hygiene. Essential functions include planning and implementing age-Appropriate recreational activities, teaching life skills, and collaborating with the treatment team to facilitate therapeutic relationships.

Minimum qualifications require a high school diploma or ged, with an associate's degree in a human services related field preferred, along with at least one year of experience in a residential setting or equivalent combination. Candidates must be at least 23 years old with a minimum of six months experience working with children, possess a valid florida driver's license, and maintain required certifications like cpr/First aid.
