The role involves creating an environment that supports children's physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development by planning and implementing developmentally appropriate classroom experiences. This includes conducting continuous developmental evaluations with accurate documentation and maintaining regular communication with parents and staff.

A minimum requirement is an associate's degree in child development, early childhood education, or a related field, or obtaining a child development associate (Cda) certification within one year if no educational degree is held. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of experience in childcare instruction or supervisory roles.
