Counselor

The role involves planning, coordinating, developing, and implementing professional individual and group counseling programs for assigned students, ensuring compliance with directives. Essential functions include reviewing background files, conducting interviews, providing direct aid for personal needs, and offering continuous educational and social adjustment counseling.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree that includes 15 semester hours in social services related instruction, along with one year of experience in counseling or a related field. Required qualifications also include experience working with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer proficiency, and a valid driver's license with an acceptable record.
