Direct Support Professional - Oneonta Region

The role involves assisting individuals receiving services across educational, residential, and community settings with all aspects of their lives, including support for activities of daily living and personal care. Responsibilities also include promoting choice and independence while maintaining protective oversight and ensuring compliance with all policies and regulations for safe program operation.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and prior experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred. Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule, including mandatory overtime and overnights, possess professional communication skills, and be able to lift 50 lbs independently.
