Weekend Residence Counselor

The residence counselor provides assistance to individuals across educational and residential settings, promoting choice and independence while ensuring protective oversight and compliance with regulations. Primary duties involve modeling behavior, implementing service plans, supporting individuals with challenging behaviors, and providing medical advocacy and support.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to work specific weekend shifts (Friday, saturday, sunday) potentially including mandated overtime. Essential requirements include the ability to lift 50 lbs independently, perform physical interventions, meet driving requirements for company vehicles, and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
