Unit Educator Surgical Services

The unit educator assists in coordinating the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of ongoing educational needs for surgical services staff, designing activities to enhance clinical performance and patient care outcomes. This role involves developing competency plans, implementing orientation for new employees, maintaining education documentation, and partnering on policy and procedure development.

Candidates must be eligible for rn licensure in kentucky, with a bachelor of science in nursing (Bsn) or equivalent preferred, and must possess bls and bls instructor certifications. Required experience includes 3–5 years in perioperative settings, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
