Direct support professionals will provide personalized 1

1 care, teaching skills to promote independence, supporting community inclusion, and mentoring individuals to build social skills and relationships. Responsibilities also include assisting with daily activities such as eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, meal preparation, and monitoring health and safety.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have a valid driver's license for a minimum of two consecutive years if providing transportation. Candidates must also pass criminal record and healthcare registry checks, and commit to achieving competency in required knowledge and skills, including obtaining first aid/Cpr certification.
