Behavior Specialist (K-8/Fairmount Campus)

The behavior specialist serves as the case manager for student behavioral programming, primarily responsible for developing and implementing behavior intervention plans (Bips) based on functional behavioral assessments (Fbas). This role involves conducting assessments, training staff, monitoring efficacy through data collection, and implementing crisis management procedures.

Candidates must obtain and maintain professional crisis management (Pcm) and cpr certifications, holding a bachelor's degree in psychology, behavior analysis, or special education. A minimum of two years of experience working with children with developmental disabilities is required, with experience in autism or behavioral challenges being preferred.
