Family Services Teacher (Sept - May)

The family services teacher will support classroom teams in creating a learning environment that fosters belonging and agency, collaborating with teachers to implement curriculum responsive to child development and cultural backgrounds. Responsibilities also include collecting objective child observations, supporting individualized education services, ensuring inclusion of children with special needs, and providing relationship-Based support to families to achieve their goals.

Candidates must possess a minimum of an associate of early childhood education, as a child development associate (Cda) is insufficient, and must have at least two years of experience teaching preschool children aged 3-5 in a certified setting. Required certifications include a minimum of step 9 on the oregon registry online, current first aid/Cpr, food handler card, and successful completion of background checks prior to hire.
