Special Education Teacher

The teacher provides individualized education, engages students in active learning, facilitates iep meetings, and serves as the case manager for students on their caseload. Responsibilities also include ensuring the classroom environment promotes independence and supervising instructional aides and support staff.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and hold current certification from the state of wisconsin department of public instruction in one of the specified special education licenses. Experience working with individuals with autism, cognitive delays, ebd, and mental health needs is preferred.
