Support Professional

The support professional provides direct care, academic support, and positive engagement for students across school, residential, and community settings, promoting safety, participation, and skill-Building. Key duties include supervising students, supporting daily living skills, modeling positive behavior, and assisting classroom teachers with instruction and data collection.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged, with a bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, and a minimum of one year of experience working with students with disabilities in an educational setting. Additional requirements include being at least 21 years old, holding a valid driver's license, and the ability to maintain composure in stressful situations while effectively implementing physical intervention techniques.
