Core responsibilities
As a nurse instructor, you will inspire and mentor future nursing assistants while planning and coordinating the certified nursing assistant training program. You will also supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing assistant students and ensure quality nursing assistant services are provided in patient care areas.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing with current registered nurse licensure and have at least two years of clinical experience, including one to two years in long-Term care or geriatric nursing. Additionally, they must complete a course focused on teaching adult students and maintain current basic life support certification.
