The primary role involves leading daily instructional programs to achieve superior student achievement and ensuring successful participation through consistent communication and interfacing with parents or caretakers. Teachers must also prepare daily and weekly lesson plans aligned with each student’s iep goals and document all instructional activities and outcomes.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and a residency teacher certification in washington state, with a special education endorsement being preferred. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, experience with specific disabilities like adhd and hfa, and familiarity with applied behavioral analysis, assessment, and report writing.
