Behavior Technician (Paraprofessional) Queens

The behavior technician will work directly with students with asd, assisting teachers in implementing ieps and bips, and providing academic and behavioral support to help students achieve individualized goals. Key duties include supporting daily tasks, implementing self-Regulation strategies, collecting performance data, and collaborating with the teaching team.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, though an associate’s degree or higher in a related field is preferred. Candidates must possess a passion for supporting students with autism and demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, along with patience and empathy.
