Physical Education Teacher (Brooklyn)

The physical education teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans adapted for students on the autism spectrum, aligning with their individualized education programs (Ieps). Key duties include promoting physical fitness, motor skill development, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining detailed records of student progress and activities.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in physical education, special education, or a related field, along with the required ny state physical education teaching certification. Experience working with students with autism and familiarity with adaptive physical education techniques are strongly preferred, as is cpi training.
