• Joseph School Cockeysville is seeking an experienced Math Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.
• The successful applicant should demonstrate a strong knowledge of mathematics education and have teaching experience in a PreK–8 environment.
• Additionally, the candidate must possess effective written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• The candidate must also be able to prepare, plan, create, and execute informative and engaging lesson plans for students.
• This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, 10-month teaching position.

• Essential Functions
• Instruct math classes for students in Grades 5–8.
• Conduct assessments and grading, including the use of PowerSchool.
• Maintain classroom management and perform all duties assigned to this teacher.
• Participate as a member of the faculty in all meetings and activities.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administration regarding all matters related to the school.

• Position Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Education with a concentration in Mathematics.
• Valid Maryland State Teaching Certification.
• Knowledge of technology use and integration.
• Knowledge of curriculum, instructional methods and strategies, and curriculum differentiation.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.

Range: $40,000 – 75,000, annualized
