  • Range: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 Salary/yearNotre Dame Preparatory School (NDP), a Catholic, independent, college preparatory school for girls in grades 6 - 12 located in Towson, Maryland, seeks a full-time Social Studies teacher for the 2026 - 2027 school year for the Upper Level (Grades 9 – 12). This position involves teaching five sections of 9th grade United States Government. These courses emphasize analytical writing, source-based inquiry, and discussion-centered instruction. The ideal candidate will be committed to developing students’ historical thinking skills, including argumentation, use of evidence, and critical analysis, while fostering an engaging and inclusive classroom environment. Candidates should be eager to collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and contribute to a dynamic and supportive department. Dates for the 10-month position are August 16th to June 15th (as well as attending new employee orientation August 17, 18 & 19, 2026). Annual reporting dates based on school calendar. Grounded in Catholic teaching and inspired by the charism of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, we expect our employees to foster a culture in which students are encouraged to explore their passions, deepen their faith, and build lasting bonds of sisterhood.
