Job Summary SchoolHouse Staffing is hiring a full-time Special Education Case Manager for an in-person position at CICS Basil in Chicago, Illinois. This role supports a caseload of approximately 15 students and is responsible for ensuring special education services are delivered effectively and in compliance with state and federal requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee a caseload of approximately 15 students with IEPs Ensure IEP compliance, service implementation, documentation, and timelines are met Coordinate and lead IEP meetings with families, staff, and service providers Collaborate with teachers, interventionists, and related service teams to support student needs Monitor student progress toward IEP goals and adjust supports as needed Maintain organized, accurate, and timely student records Support the development of individualized academic and behavioral plans Help ensure all special education processes align with district, state, and federal guidelines Required Qualifications Active Illinois PEL with LBS1 required Grades K–8 endorsement required Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field Strong knowledge of IEP development, compliance, and case management responsibilities Experience working with students with disabilities in a school-based setting Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills
