Assistant Professor

The faculty member will teach a full-Time load during the 9-Month academic year, covering a wide range of literature and writing courses, while also engaging in scholarly activities and participating in department, college, and university committees. Responsibilities also include fostering a meaningful learning experience, advising students, collaborating on curriculum, and supporting student enrollment and retention initiatives.

A ph.d. In english, literature, rhetoric and composition, or a related field is required by august 1, 2026, along with demonstrated effectiveness in teaching college-Level writing. Candidates should also possess skills in working with diverse populations and effective communication.
