Part-Time Staff Psychiatrist

The psychiatrist will provide a full range of psychiatric services to student patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, follow-Up, and referral, while working within a multidisciplinary team to support student well-Being and academic success. Essential functions include providing pharmacotherapy, consulting with caps staff, participating in clinical meetings, completing documentation, and providing emergency psychiatric services as needed.

Candidates must possess a doctor of medicine (M.d.) or doctor of osteopathic (D.o.) degree and be a licensed physician (Psychiatrist) in new york state, holding board certification or eligibility in psychiatry. Required experience includes working with underserved populations, knowledge of pharmacotherapy for young adults, and specialized knowledge in treating common college mental health issues.
