Catholic School Teacher

The teacher is responsible for supporting the diocese of tucson's mission by evangelizing, catechizing, and educating youth within a catholic school environment, acting as a minister of the gospel both academically and behaviorally. Essential duties include recognizing and supporting the school's catholic mission, planning lessons that integrate academic goals with the catholic religious curriculum, and providing explicit evidence-Based instruction.

Candidates must possess a working knowledge of and strong commitment to the roman catholic church's mission, including maintaining current arizona state teacher certification and potentially obtaining diocesan ministry certification. Basic qualifications require a bachelor's degree or higher, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, organizational ability, and willingness to undergo a criminal history background check.
