Junior Counselor (Summer Camp)

Junior counselors are responsible for the care and general welfare of their assigned camper group, prioritizing safety and assisting with transitions between locations. They will also facilitate daily activities, ensuring accommodations are made for all campers, and collaborate with senior counselors on any behavioral issues.

Candidates must be 16 years of age or older and are expected to actively use empathy, patience, and positivity while working collaboratively and taking direction from senior staff. Physical requirements include the ability to work outdoors in high temperatures, sit/Stand/Kneel for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
