University Prep Schools Paraprofessional

Paraprofessionals assist the classroom teacher with the educational and social development of students, primarily by providing instructional support to individuals or small groups as directed. They also supervise students during non-Academic periods and help maintain an orderly classroom environment.

Candidates must have completed two years of higher education (60 semester hours) or hold an associate’s degree or higher, along with passing the ets parapro assessment or meeting specific michigan test for teacher certification (Mttc) basic skills requirements. Proficiency in microsoft office suite and strong communication and time management skills are also necessary.
