This entry-level position provides comprehensive athletic training services to assigned intercollegiate teams, focusing on injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and emergency care under the direction of the Head Athletic Trainer and team physicians. Essential duties include providing services during practices and competitions, developing rehabilitation programs, maintaining medical documentation, and ensuring compliance with NCAA and university regulations.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training from a CAATE-accredited program and hold or be eligible for Board of Certification (BOC) certification. Eligibility for licensure in Florida, along with CPR/AED and First Aid certification, is required, along with the ability to work demanding hours including evenings, weekends, and travel.
