Childrens Leeds Schools SBMH Therapist

The counselor will provide assessment, individual/Family therapy, and group therapy to students with severe emotional/Behavioral problems interfering with their functioning at school or home. Key functions include interviewing, evaluating needs, devising individualized service plans, and collaborating with school staff and community resources.

A master's degree in psychology, social work, or counseling with a clinical emphasis for children/Adolescents is required, though licensure is preferred. Preferred qualifications include two years of experience working with children/Adolescents with serious emotional disturbances in a community setting, along with a valid alabama driver's license and suitable insured vehicle.
