Preschool Teachers Assistant

The teacher assistant supports the lead teacher by helping to plan, prepare, and implement the classroom curriculum based on the rhode island early learning and development standards. Essential functions include establishing positive rapport with children and families, maintaining classroom safety and cleanliness, and ensuring active supervision of children at all times.

Candidates must have at least three months of experience working in a classroom environment and be a minimum of 16 years old. Applicants must also be able to obtain cpr and first aid certification within three months of hiring and comply with all required background checks and child abuse prevention training.
