Residential Counselor I

The residential counselor i is responsible for the care and supervision of severely emotionally disturbed children in the facility, ensuring their safety and implementing daily activities according to program mandates. Essential functions include implementing trauma-Informed interventions, managing crises, overseeing physical and medical needs, and monitoring medication use.

Minimum qualifications require a bachelor's degree or one year of relevant group home/Treatment program experience or specific educational units combined with experience, or life experience in relevant systems. Candidates must also possess a valid california driver's license, pass background checks, and be physically capable of performing duties including physical restraints.
