Phlebotomy Technician Skills Assistant

The assistant will support students with skills relevant to their scope of practice and aid the lead instructor in evaluating, reporting, and recording student progress during skill labs. This role also involves assisting with grading assignments and preparing students for externships while modeling professional healthcare values.

Candidates must possess a current phlebotomy technician certification (Cpt-1) and ideally have one year of relevant experience, demonstrating proficiency in all blood collection methods including capillary, syringe, vacutainer, and butterfly techniques. Essential soft skills include comfort speaking to large groups, the ability to multitask, critical thinking, and being highly organized.
