Internship (Outpatient Mental Health Clinic- Case Management Gaithersburg) 2026-2027 Counseling/Social Work Fieldwork

Interns will support clients through the clinic enrollment process, assisting with intake tasks such as consents, releases, and insurance authorizations. They will also gain exposure to clinical interventions, potentially assisting with treatment groups and shadowing assessments or therapy sessions.

This internship is designed for bsw and msw foundations year students seeking practical experience in a community outpatient mental health clinic serving adults and youth. Availability for at least 16 hours per week, primarily in-Person, is required.
