Group Exercise Instructor

The instructor is responsible for teaching scheduled group exercise classes, ensuring proper warm-Up, exercises, cool-Down, and stretches are included. This involves demonstrating exercises with correct form and actively monitoring participants to provide necessary instruction and maintain a safe, enjoyable atmosphere.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess working knowledge of human anatomy, kinesiology, and training principles, along with group fitness teaching strategies including music and cueing. A group exercise instructor certification (Ace, afaa, or equivalent) and cpr certification are preferred or required within two months of hire, with two years of experience being preferred but not always necessary.
