Special Education / Academic Instructor

The instructor will deliver engaging classroom instruction in assigned subject areas while mentoring students and reinforcing job corps’ career success standards. Key duties include creating a positive learning environment, maintaining student records, preparing lesson plans, and ensuring classroom safety.

Candidates should possess knowledge of the assigned subject area and strong classroom management and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor young adults. State teaching certification in new mexico is preferred but may be waived if the candidate pursues certification.
