Early Childhood Teacher

The teacher is responsible for creating a positive, warm, individualized, and nurturing environment that encourages inquiry and open-Ended thought for children, ensuring they are treated with dignity and respect. They must also promote and improve the jcc’s mission, ensure compliance with licensing standards, and implement the program according to jcc policies and philosophy.

Candidates must possess a genuine love and respect for children and families, demonstrate flexibility, and have good verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to obtain and maintain first aid and cpr certifications. An ideal candidate will also have 1-2 years of ece experience, a high score on the wisconsin registry for early childhood, strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrated knowledge of ece approaches and child development.
