Core responsibilities
The behavior technician assists rehab staff in implementing behavior protocols developed by the bcba, involving novel data collection, observation, and providing corrective reinforcement and praise. They are also responsible for modeling professional behavior, increasing staff engagement with clients, and managing crisis situations during their shift.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a valid michigan driver's license and demonstrate high attention to detail, along with good problem-Solving, communication (Written and verbal), and organizational skills. Previous experience as a behavior technician and experience with data collection, entry, and analysis are preferred.
