Summer Youth Assistant

The summer youth assistant will support children in elementary or middle school age groups within a therapeutic classroom setting in the compass kids program, implementing trauma-Informed and christ-Centered educational activities. This role also involves ensuring program support by adhering to best practice standards for social emotional learning and providing daily communication to parents and staff.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have a minimum of one year of experience working with young children. Preferred qualifications include experience in a school or family recovery setting and knowledge of children impacted by trauma, poverty, or homelessness.
