Early Childhood Teacher

The teacher assumes responsibility for assigned children, meeting their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive developmental needs throughout the daily schedule. This includes completing individual assessments, formulating plans for special needs, and cultivating growth through high scope curriculum activities indoors and outdoors.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, a ba with an aa in eced, or a ba in a related field with 16 credit hours in child development courses. A minimum of two years of classroom experience, preferably in early childhood, is required, along with passing a background check.
