Middle School Learning Specialist

The learning specialist is responsible for identifying and supporting middle school students with learning differences or academic challenges through individual and small group work, while also coaching faculty and interpreting evaluations. Key duties include creating personalized learning plans, leading study halls focused on executive functioning, and providing professional development to staff.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in special education, educational therapy certificate, or a related field, along with experience in a middle school setting and strong knowledge of learning disabilities and executive function challenges. Excellent communication skills and proficiency with various assessment tools are also required.
