Sports Instructor

The sports instructor plans and teaches various youth sports programs for participants aged 3 through 17, ensuring activities align with ymca core values and safety procedures. This role also involves acting as a liaison for communication, coordinating promotions, and training volunteers.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged equivalent and ideally have two or more years of experience in teaching or participating in youth sports. Required abilities include high energy, comfort with public speaking, excellent communication, and proficiency in microsoft word and excel, with first aid/Cpr/Aed certification required within 30 days of hire.
