The clinical social worker provides essential clinical social work services, including psychosocial assessment, treatment, case management, and therapy for students and their families. This role also involves developing and implementing mental health individualized education program (Iep) goals and serving as a training model for trainees.

Candidates must possess and maintain both a clinical social worker (Lcsw-C) license from maryland and an educator license as a school social worker from the maryland state department of education. A master's degree in social work is required, along with a minimum of two years of relevant clinical licensed experience, preferably with children and adolescents.
