Lead teachers are responsible for planning and implementing learning experiences that advance the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of children in a safe environment, while encouraging family involvement. They instruct and supervise children, implement age-Appropriate activities based on standards, and maintain detailed documentation for each child.

A minimum requirement is an associate's degree in early childhood or a related field, including 9 credit hours in early childhood, along with one to three years of teaching experience with children aged 3 to 5. Candidates must also be able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and must have legal authorization to work permanently in the united states.
