Direct Support Professional (DSP)

As a personal attendant, responsibilities include providing consistent supervision, hands-On assistance with activities of daily living, and reporting health changes. As a skills instructor, duties focus on teaching functional skills like budgeting and household management, and supporting community engagement and vocational exploration.

Candidates need 0-3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and must be able to maintain professional relationships and follow care plans. Employment is contingent upon passing a background check, maintaining tb clearance, and holding valid cpr/First aid certification and a california driver's license if transportation is required.
