Direct Support Professional (DSP)

As a personal attendant, responsibilities include individualized support focusing on health and safety supervision, assisting with adls like bathing and feeding, and accompanying individuals to appointments. As a skills instructor, the role involves teaching functional skills such as budgeting and household management, supporting community engagement, and reinforcing prosocial behaviors.

Candidates need 0-3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and must be able to maintain professional relationships and follow established care plans. Employment is contingent upon passing a background check, maintaining tb clearance, and holding valid cpr/First aid certification and a california driver's license if transportation is required.
